After weeks of online searches and seeking recommendations from my friends and especially my grandchildren (who are smoothie advocates) I finally ordered my smoothie maker.

Maintaining a healthy diet was a post-retirement resolution. My meals were reasonably balanced but I wanted to add homemade drinks using fresh ingredients. A smoothie maker was what I needed! Not a bulky appliance but a blender appropriate for one person. I did not want any excess drinks left in the fridge.

I don’t know if this happens to you but it is true for me, procrastinating on a task because it seems too onerous. And when I finally get around to doing it, it seems so straightforward.
